April 2nd is Autism Awareness Day and buildings and structures across the country are being illuminated in blue to raise awareness for Autism. LED Source supplied 8 ColorReach Powercores to Party Tunes Entertainment/Chameleon Design, who was chosen to create the lighting for the World Center Marriott in Orlando, FL for this special event.
Despite the challenge to light the building's unique architecture, the ColorReach Powercores rose to the occasion and completely washed the 28-story hotel in vivid blue light. The highest point of the 270 ft. central tower was lit with one of the ColorReaches mounted on the ground several hundred feet away from the building.
Some of the other notable structures participating in the event are the Empire State Building, CN Tower, Nevada State Capitol, Fenway Park and the Peace Bridge, which features another display of ColorReach Powercores.
