When asked to provide the installation of a LED dance floor for an alternative lifestyles dance club in Detroit, MI, LED Source Dealer - Sound Mind Events flew into action. Sound Mind Events was asked to provide a 32’x16’ Color Changing LED floor for a 500 person club. The project also included an LED wall. With the help of LED Source, Sound Mind Events specified Color Cove MX wide throw for the floor, and Color Cove MX narrow for the wall which is controlled with a color dial. The floor, consisting of 128 instruments, was programmed and controlled using a Color Kinetics IPlayer 3. Chief LD and construction supervisor was Robert Chapman. This installation was completed in October 2007.
