A: No, we train you on everything you need to know! However, a background in business, sales, marketing or a network of commercial contacts will be helpful to build your new business.
Q: Why would I purchase an LED Source® franchise instead of starting my own LED lighting business?

Q: What are my startup costs?
A: Startup costs really do depend on the territory, the type, location and size of franchise you're applying for, however, the single unit LED Source® Pro franchise total costs can range from approximately $137,200 to more than $355,700.

Q: What is an FDD and how do I get a copy of it?
A: The FDD (Franchise Disclosure Document) is the document that provides you with detailed information about our franchise offering. Typically, we send out the FDD early on in our discussions, after we have reviewed your application and initially determined you are a candidate for our franchise. By franchise law, we must provide you with this FDD at least 14 days prior to allowing you to purchase our franchise.
Q: Do you offer multi-unit opportunities?
A: Yes, we do. In fact, many of our existing franchisees are multi-unit owners by way of our Area Development agreement. We would be happy to speak to you in detail on this.
Q: What is the term of my franchise agreement?
A: 10 Years with option to renew.
Q: How long will it take to open my business?
A: If you are serious about getting started quickly, it is certainly possible to have you in business within 30-60 days after you sign your franchise agreement.
