Our franchise approval team has great experience in selecting the right type of people to become LED Source® franchisees. We've identified the following as a few important qualities to succeed in an LED Source® franchise. While you don't necessarily need ALL of these, you should at least possess most.
These are a few of the types of qualities we look for in selecting our franchisees. We have already created a very powerful and exciting brand and to that end, we recognize how important the careful selection of good franchisees is - and at the same time, the problems that selection of the wrong franchisee could bring.
Financially, we require a minimum of $50,000 in liquid cash to invest in a "LED Pro" franchise (assuming the balance comes by way of your own financing). Your personal net worth should be greater than $100,000 at a minimum.
To invest in our North American franchise system, you must be a legal US or Canadian citizen. However, we are working fast to establish the model internationally as well.
Q: Do I need to have experience in LED Lighting? A: No, we train you on most everything you need to know! However, a background in business, sales, marketing etc. will provide an important foundation to build your new skills on.
A: Startup costs really do depend on the territory, the type, location and size of franchise you're applying for, however, the single unit LED Source® Pro franchise total costs can range from approximately $132,000 to more than $248,900.

A: The FDD (Franchise Disclosure Document) is a very legal document that provides you with detailed information about our franchise offering in the form of disclosure. Typically, we send out the FDD a little later on in our discussions, after we have reviewed your application and determined that you are a potential candidate for an LED Source® franchise.

A: 10 Years with option to renew.
A: If you are serious about getting started quickly, it is certainly possible to have you in business within 60 days after you sign your franchise agreement.
The goal for LED Source® is to have a franchise location in every State of America and every Province in Canada. However, some States have unique franchise licensing criteria. In those States we will be able to offer franchise opportunities once registration is approved.
LED Source® is currently approved to sell Franchises in Canada and most US States including some of the toughest - NY, CA and IL. To find out whether your State is approved, contact us directly. Even if we are not yet approved, we can provide you with an updated schedule for registration in that State.
If your State isn't currently available, don't let that discourage you! Give us a call and we can provide you with an updated timeline estimate as to when that State's registration will be completed. Don't wait. Get YOUR name at the top of the list.

LED Source has been renovating a 4,500 square foot showroom in the Design District located at 154 Glass St., Suite 108, and will celebrate its completion and their official grand opening on Wednesday, Jan. 18. The Dallas Chamber of Commerce will welcome the new business with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
