These are a few of the types of qualities we look for in selecting our franchisees. We intend to create a very powerful and exciting brand and to that end, we recognize how important the careful selection of good franchisees is.
Financially, we typically require a minimum of $50,000 in liquid cash to invest (in the US) in a "LED Complete" franchise or $20,000 in liquid cash if you're buying an "LED Lite" franchise in a territory approved for that level. Your minimum personal net worth should be $100,000 - $250,000 depending on your franchise type
You must be a legal US or Canadian citizen.
Q: Do I need to have experience in LED Lighting?
A: No, we train you on everything you need to know! However, a background in business, sales, marketing etc. will of course be helpful to build your new skills on.
Q: What are my startup costs?
A: Startup costs really do depend on the territory and the type of franchise you're applying for, however, the total costs can range from approximately $20,000 for a single unit LED Source™ LED-Lite franchise to $253,900 for a single unit LED Source™ LED-Complete Business.
Q: What is an FDD and how do I get a copy of it?
A: The FDD (Franchise Disclosure Document) is a big document that provides you with detailed information about our franchise offering. Typically, we send out the FDD early on in our discussions, after we have reviewed your application and initially determined you are a candidate for our franchise.
Q: Do you offer multi-unit opportunities?
A: Yes, we do and we would be happy to speak to you in detail on this.
Q: What is the term of my franchise agreement?
A: 10 Years with option to renew.
Q: How long will it take to open my business?
A: If you are serious about getting started quickly, it is certainly possible to have you in business within 30 days after you sign your franchise agreement.

Our near term goal for LED Source™ Franchising is to be franchising in every State of the country and Canada. However, some States have unique franchise licensing criteria. In those States we will be able to offer franchise opportunities once registration is approved.
LED Source™ is currently approved to sell Franchises in Canada and most US States including some of the toughest - NY, CA and IL. To find out whether your state is approved, contact us directly. Even if we are not yet approved, we can provide you with an updated schedule for registration in that state.
If your State isn't currently available, don't let that discourage you! Call our office (866.900.4533) and we can provide you with an updated time estimate as to when that State's registration will be complete. Get YOUR name at the top of the list.
