For larger installations of LED products, and especially when creating complex patterns and programs, the use of Video input or Ethernet controllers allows the user to control thousands of fixtures or nodes, where using DMX would be impossible.
Using Video control or Ethernet control gives you the ability to turn individual fixtures into a low resolution screen, and display pictures and video content.
